Introduction to Ready Position

Ready positions provide you with a technique to move, search, and assess while keeping your muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Ready positions also provide you with an “in between” position between having your pistol holstered and full presentation. These positions will allow you build a full presentation very quickly if you decide to fire. Your ready positioning will be situationally dependent on your environment and where you are positioned in that environment.
